NOTICES
The ABHES Commission is responsible for the process of establishing the adequacy and relevance of its policies, procedures, and evaluation standards to achieve its mission. The policies, procedures, and evaluation standards used to evaluate institutions and programs are published in the Accreditation Manual. The Accreditation Manual is reviewed using a five-year cycle by which time a substantive review of each standard is complete.
In its review, participation and input from appropriate constituents, including accredited institutions and programs, students, graduates, employers, and industry leaders is sought. Those with an interest in commenting on the Commissions Proposed Revisions to the Accreditation Manual are asked to respond via the instructions within the written notice.
At this time, there are the following call for comments available.
ABHES publishes a list of institutions and programs to be considered at its Commission meeting and requests comments pertaining to any institution or program listed on the Institutions/Programs to be Considered List. Comments must include information that assists the Commission in making a decision regarding pending applications. All comments received will be forwarded to the institution for an opportunity to submit a response to the comments. Anonymous comments will not be accepted.
Those wishing to provide comments to be considered at the next Commission Meeting must submit comments to Amy Rowe, Associate Executive Director of Membership Services at arowe@abhes.org.
